At Shakespeare & Taylor, we are committed to delivering your orders promptly and efficiently. Our shipping policies are designed to ensure that your items arrive safely and on time. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping and delivery process.

Shipping Methods

We offer two shipping options to meet your needs:

  1. Standard Shipping: Delivery within 3-5 business days.

  2. Express Shipping: Delivery within 2-3 business days. If this method is required then please DO NOT purchase online, but contact our office to place your order.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and the shipping method selected. Here’s a breakdown of our shipping rates:

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping.  However if you are interested in our products and would like to place an order from outside of the UK, then please contact our office to discuss.  

Order Processing

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed before 2:00 PM GMT will be processed the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT will be processed the next business day.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number. 

Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

  • A signature is required for all of our shipments on delivery.

If you experience any issues with your delivery, such as delays or missing items, please contact our office to discuss.  We are here to assist you and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Returns & Exchanges

If you have chosen engraving on your product, this cannot be exchanged. Where a product is received and is damaged, a refund can be provided on receipt of evidence of the damage.  Shakespeare & Taylor will pay for all items to be returned to our Workshop.

If you receive your product and it is damaged please contact our office within 30 days of receipt of the item. We will offer a full refund or replacement product. Shakespeare & Taylor will pay for the return of any items received in a damaged state.

We can make different sizes for our products because they are all individual but we would welcome a conversation initially to listen to your requirements. Please contact our office to discuss.

Wipe with a damp cloth, and remove any moisture with a dry cloth. We use food safe oil on the wood and recommend oiling your product at intervals to nourish and restore the wood.  

Yes, we offer engraving within the limits of the product size. Happy to discuss further, please contact our office to discuss your exact requirements.

We make all of our walnut boards and products upon order and therefore generally dispatch orders within two weeks.

We accept payment via order online. Our online order system accepts all major banking and credit cards.
